With Akira Inugami believed dead, Akiko makes her way to Alaska with Jin’s assistance. On the way back from the airport however, he receives a message from a mysterious woman indicating that Akira may yet still be alive.
An occasionally graphic action-drama with a minor romance subplot and small amount of nudity. Note that it begins in the middle of the story and only provides brief flashbacks to earlier events.

Content with his normal everyday life, Tenchi Masaki receives a nasty shock one morning after accidentally awakening the infamous space pirate who had been sealed within the depths of his family’s shrine. It turns out he’s in fact alien royalty, and soon two princesses, an accident-prone galaxy police officer, and a mad scientist show up to complicate things even further. With the number of Tenchi’s houseguests now constantly on the rise it seems his life will never be normal again.
A slapstick-focused harem comedy featuring occasional nudity which periodically adopts space opera aspects. Note that the GXP series takes place around the same time as episode 21 and becomes heavily referenced from that point on.

Far in the future humanity has spread across the galaxy. Despite the breadth of the expansion however they have only just recently discovered signs of alien life, and even what appears to be a living alien. Setting out to investigate the discovery is the TV production crew of the cargo ship Lydia, who have on board a mysterious young girl who wishes to meet the alien for reasons of her own.
A drama with a moderate amount of action and small early splashes of comic relief.

In the year 192 a race of insectoid aliens have begun invading Earth, taking control of its orbital ring and terraforming the land to better match their biology. Initially completely outmatched humanity’s only hope lies in Takaya Aiba, an amnesiac who crashed to Earth with the ability to transform into a powerful armored warrior known as Tekkaman Blade.
An action-heavy drama with a small romance subplot loosely based on the earlier 1975 Tekkaman series.

At an undefined point in the future the discovery of a new energy source has completely changed the face of society. Now two oganizations are fighting for control over this energy source, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.
Despite the name this does not have all that much in the way of giant robot action. It’s more of a character drama with secondary martial-arts aspects and only tertiary mecha action.
