Knight’s & Magic

A genius programmer and plastic model enthusiast, Tsubasa Kurata is killed in a traffic accident one night and finds himself suddenly reincarnated into a fantasy world filled with mecha and demonic creatures. The magic of this world is remarkably similar to programming code and with the knowledge from his previous life still intact he quickly advances toward his newfound goal of becoming a Silhouette Knight pilot.

An action-fantasy with an overwhelming love for everything mecha-related that, while not explicitly a comedy, does not treat anything particularly seriously.

Strike the Blood II

Having already overcome many trials Kojou and his friends believe they finally have a chance to relax. This is not to be, as they soon find themselves under attack from both an organization that wishes to eradicate any possibility of a lost god’s re-awakening as well as that same god’s misguided disciples.

A continuation of the Strike the Blood franchise which takes place after the Valkyria OVAs. It has the same mix of content as the TV series and you can’t really watch this without having seen that first.

Sakura Quest

Fresh out of college in Tokyo, Yoshino Koharu is having difficulty finding a job. Desperate for money she accepts a modeling agency’s offer to become the tourism ambassador for a small rural town on what she believes is a part-time basis, not knowing the job is supposed to last a full year. There she discovers that she’s been to the town before and that maybe living in the countryside isn’t so bad after all.

A mostly laid-back daily life show surrounding the activities of a small town tourism board. It features reaction-based comedic elements along with spots of usually low-key drama related to character backgrounds, the methods used to promote the town, and various population-related issues.

A shy and introverted bookworm, the last place Shiki Koshiyama wants to be is in the spotlight. Yet that’s exactly where he ends up after getting dragged into an impromptu competitive quiz. Initially hesitant, he soon discovers that he can’t get enough of the rush of adrenaline that comes from successfully answering a question.

Essentially a sports shounen centered on quiz shows. Though it has comic relief in the form of exaggerated character behavior, it treats its subject matter seriously.

Yukari Nejima has long had a crush on Misaki Takasaki, who it turns out reciprocates those feelings. However, to combat a declining birthrate the Japanese government has instituted a system of arranged marriage in which people are paired up on their 16th birthday based on a ‘compatibility calculation’, and to his dismay it assigns Ririna Sanada as his partner instead. Ririna is not thrilled by this development either and decides to encourage Yukari and Misaki’s relationship.

A love polygon romance with minor ecchi harem elements. In addition to the central relationship triangle, it also includes a tertiary unrequited yaoi love aspect.

Yoshiko Hanabatake and Akuru Akutsu are childhood friends who happen to be complete opposites; Akuru is smart and serious to a fault while Yoshiko is playful and lacks even the most basic common sense. Though Yoshiko claims to like Akuru, he does not feel the same way and often responds violently to her constant idiotic behavior.

An odd-couple gag comedy specializing in slapstick and ecchi.
