In order to prevent the Time Retrograde Army from altering history the spirits of famous weapons have been brought to life in human bodies. Just recently incarnated, Kunihiro Horikawa has been paired with Kanesada Izuminokami and the two are soon joined by three others. Now the five must work as a team to uncover and eliminate a particularly large-scale plot.
An action-heavy series based off of the Touken Ranbu game that switches up the cast at the halfway point. Aside from characters and premise it has no relation to the earlier Touken Ranbu Anime.
