Ami is a slightly clumsy college student without any hobbies, until one day she sees someone riding a folding bike. Despite having long had an interest in biking she never tried it herself due to a fear of falling, and the folding bike looks just compact enough to inspire her to try.
A slice of life cycling series with a noticeable ecchi streak and comedy based on awkward character behavior.

While rummaging through his grandfather’s stored things for something to pawn, Hikaru ends up possessed by the ghost of a Go instructor from the Heian period. Soon enough Hikaru becomes interested in the game as well and starts trying to become a better player.
Unlike many of this sort of series, this one doesn’t really have any comedy to speak of. It treats the game as deathly serious and even the school life portions focus on darker topics such as bullying and jealousy.

The youngest son in a family full of entertainers and show business talents, Izumi Sena is a somewhat introverted young man who ends up agreeing to take part in a special anniversary commercial. A commercial which intends to use the same cast as one he accidentally ended up appearing in 10 years earlier… as a girl. Meanwhile, the wildly popular actor Ryouma Ichijou also happened to be in that commercial and has not been able to forget about the girl he met there. What will happen when these two are reunited and Ryouma finds out that Izumi is actually a guy?
An otherwise conventional ‘popular guy, plain girl’ romantic comedy with a mostly male cast and slight focus on the entertainment industry. The majority of the comedy is centered on how awkward both Izumi and Ryouma are about expressing/dealing with their feelings.

When sorcerers cross the line and start using their powers for evil, the Sorcerer Hunters are contracted to eliminate them: Carrot the skirt-chaser, his magic-inclined brother Marron, the brawler Gateau, and the dominatrix sisters Chocolate & Tira.
An action comedy, centered primarily on Carrot’s manic behavior, set in a grim world where the common people live in fear and poverty. It mostly consists of episodic stories with only about a quarter of it being plot-driven.

The first OVA is half standard hot springs fanservice episode and half serious flashback. It’s not directly connected to the second two.
After a drinking contest one night, Zeno finds himself dreaming of the past.
A two-episode flashback showing the beginnings of the Kouka kingdom and the details of Zeno’s history. There’s only a small amount of comic relief here with the rest consisting of reflective scenes and serious drama.

Natsume’s everyday life continues as he meets new youkai of all kinds, from malicious to benevolent to mischievous.
A mostly episodic addition to the Natsume franchise which can serve as an entry point for new viewers. In comparison to the previous season, there’s less direct conflict here with nearly all the stories featuring longing of some form.

Shortly after starting his first year at an elite cram school, Daisuke Higashida is forced to find a part-time job in order to pay for his phone bill and train pass after his father’s business goes bankrupt. Worse, the only place close enough turns out to be a family restaurant full of eccentrics.
A gag comedy set in a restaurant that eventually transforms into a multi-couple romantic comedy, though it stays focused on reaction-shots throughout. Each character has their own gimmick (airhead, sadist, slacker, doormat, tomboy, spooky, etc.) with the protagonist usually playing the role of straight man.

Yuzuka’s everyday life goes on as she continues to try to find any use at all for the magical powers she’s been given, while Mafuyu is happy just to have another magical girl to talk to.
A daily life comedy with reaction-based and slapstick humor. As a result of Mafuyu and Daiya’s larger presence it ends up having more of an ensemble approach than the first season.

The Kameido high school’s tennis club consists of four girls who don’t actually play much tennis, instead being preoccupied with everything from aliens, to where to take a vacation, to simple everyday activities that become anything but.
Completely random episodic comedy delivered at a breakneck pace. To catch all, or even most of the jokes requires frequent pausing.
