Though all creatures must overcome the assortment of vices that hide within their hearts in order to grow, sometimes outside forces will take advantage of those vices to sow chaos and discord. It’s in these situations that the Thirteen Buddhas are dispatched to eliminate the vice before it can do too much damage.
