Although Koyomi’s story has ended with his graduation and the successful resolution of the Ougi situation, what if things had turned out differently? He gets the chance to find out one morning after being suddenly sucked into a mirror leading to an alternate dimension, a place where the people he’s come to know so well are not as he remembers them.

An abstract, ecchi and dialogue-heavy addition to the Monogatari franchise which requires having seen most of the previous works to follow. It takes place between Owarimonogatari and Hanamonogatari.

Ougi Oshino, a mysterious individual claiming relation to Meme Oshino, has inserted themselves into Koyomi’s life and begins to take great interest in both his past and future. An interest which puts him on a collision course with Izuko Gaen.

This portion of the Monogatari franchise is specifically tied to Monogatari: Second Season, Tsukimonogatari, and Koyomimonogatari: The first three stories take place after Koyomi episodes 6 & 7 and focus on Koyomi’s past, the fourth is a recollection of his side of Nekomonogatari (Shiro) told following Tsuki‘s events, and the remaining three continue from Koyomi‘s last episode to conclude the highschool chapter of his life.

Walking home from the store one night Koyomi Araragi finds a vampire on the verge of death, and against his better judgement he decides to sacrifice himself so that she can survive. He does not die however. Instead, she transforms him into a vampire and tasks him with recovering her lost limbs from the hunters who stole them.

A prequel to Bakemonogatari, this series of movies fully fleshes out the brief flashback you get there. Content composition is similar with the main difference being that a larger percentage is dedicated to action and horror.

Koyomimonogatari

A collection of short stories that take place all throughout the Monogatari series, each featuring one of the girls discussing some sort of supernatural-seeming phenomenon with Koyomi.

Almost all of the episodes are effectively stand-alones that resemble the main series entry they take place near. A couple however (8 & 12) have explicit ties to the core storyline and won’t make much/any sense if you haven’t seen several of the main entries.
