Tatakae!! Iczer 1

What starts as just another day for Nagisa Kanou becomes anything but as she begins having violent hallucinations at school. Visions of monsters trying to kill her and of being saved by a mysterious girl. The girl is Iczer-1 and she needs to partner with Nagisa in order to summon the mecha Iczer Robo, the only thing capable of standing against the forces of an invading alien race.

An action-drama with a large number of body horror elements and occasional nudity. Though based on a short manga series, most of the content is Anime-original.

Although Keisuke Saji constantly fantasies about women he hasn’t had any luck finding a girlfriend. Late one night he gets a call from ‘Alice’ who asks to meet up and exchange a gift for sexual services, and overjoyed he heads out to the location… only to discover the call was a prank. He notices that his classmate Akira Koizumi is there as well and soon realizes that she’s the one who made the prank call, resulting in Akira spontaneously deciding to take on the role of ‘Alice’ herself.

A heavy-fanservice romantic comedy with a small streak of personal drama and occasional topless scenes. The humor is a mix of slapstick and ecchi.

After finally recovering the use of her legs following an accident that killed her family, Aiko Tachibana is suddenly confronted by the fact that not only is her body not her own, but that her mother and brother might still be alive. Now she must follow Yuuya Kanzaki and a special forces team deep into the heart of a biological disaster zone in the hopes of reclaiming her family and stopping the expansion of the mindless self-replicating organism responsible for the accident.

An action-drama with an even split between both action and drama, of varieties both personal and political, and a bit of mystery.

While following the trail of the vigilante killer ‘B’, the officers of the Royal Investigation Service become entangled in the machinations of the secret organization Market Maker. They are looking for B for reasons of their own and seek to lure him out of hiding with elaborate crimes, crimes which few besides the eccentric Keith Flick can see the truth of.

Part mystery thriller and part sci-fi action with a moderate streak of comic relief.

ROBO MASTERS THE ANIMATED SERIES

Long having looked up to his older brother, a former rising star in the world of robot combat, Dandan Fang (Tantan Hou) wishes to become successful in his own right as a robotic engineer outside of that world. A chance meeting in his first year at college however unexpectedly sends him down that same path as a Robomasters operator… a development he’s initially not happy with in the slightest.

An action-drama with a few comic relief elements that’s part sports competition and part drone advertisement.

Though opposite in many ways both Miou Aida and Haruki Serizawa were instantly attracted to one another. However even though everyone assumes they’re a couple their relationship is stalled at barely more than friends, as neither has the courage to reach out to the other. Will they be able to bridge the distance, or will that small 10-centimeter gap be enough to tear them apart?

A school life romantic drama. It’s a side story to Zutto Mae kara Suki Deshita and can be watched as a stand-alone, though it also provides an epilogue to that movie.

Houseki no Kuni

Phosphophyllite is one of the weakest houseki, mineral life forms composed of microscopic organisms, and for the longest time has not had a job or purpose until one morning when it’s decided that they should create an encyclopedia. Few of the houseki know much about the topic and Phos is soon directed toward Cinnabar, who keeps their distance from the others due to the poison their body produces. But after seeing how much Cinnabar is suffering from the situation Phos instead resolves to help them find a meaning for their existence.

A coming of age story with a moderate amount of action, large quantity of comedic banter, and a bit of mystery.
