Most people you’ll find will probably tell you to never use combat macros. Those people are either bleeding-edge powergamers who need to harness every fraction of a second and point of damage or elitists. Combat macros can greatly<\/em> streamline your playing experience and cut down on potential hand strain\/injuries… they also, however, can be quite punishing to button-mashers.<\/p>\n

In the images below you’ll see my various class ability hotkey layouts followed by the macros they include. Note that I only use the hotkeys for the first ability bar (the \/ key is bound to my mouse’s “sniper” button). Abilities on other bars are either not directly used at all (simply there for visual reference) or used via mouse-click.<\/p>\n

Most people you’ll find will probably tell you to never use combat macros. Those people are either bleeding-edge powergamers who need to harness every fraction of a second and point of damage or elitists. Combat macros can greatly streamline your playing experience and cut down on potential hand strain\/injuries… they also, however, can be quite punishing to button-mashers.
