Unfortunately it doesn’t really do much else of note, having relatively low stakes, besides have a pretty fun/cute protagonist. Key things to note would be that it’s a natively English LN with a Japanese setting instead of a translated work, there aren’t actually any romance elements (besides some yuri subtext) until the sixth entry, and the protagonist is a near total doormat who lets everyone walk all over her.

The fifth Shinwa Densetsu novel escalates things by quite a bit. This wraps up (the first part of?) the academy arc before launching the protagonist off into the unknown on a new adventure. I seriously hope it never returns to the academy, as while the setting wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t particularly interesting or meaningful either.

The Watashi wa Teki ni Narimasen! series ends up a bit interesting for combining a reincarnation trope with a time loop.
