And as it happens there <em>is<\/em> a notable resemblance there, albeit one cut with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/goblin-slayer\/\" title=\"Goblin Slayer\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Goblin Slayer<\/a>&#8230; which is to say it&#8217;s pretty dark (rape, gore, body horror). Not sure I want to follow it any further to be honest since event developments seem kind of haphazard.<\/p>\n<p>Generally the best you can hope for from an LN claiming a villainous protagonist is an anti-hero, with them far more often just featuring a normal hero who uses underhanded tactics. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0C8TFZ9MD\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gekka no Shoujo Asura<\/a>&#8216;s though is shockingly enough an actual villain, an &#8216;incarnation of malice&#8217; not too dissimilar from what you&#8217;d get if Tanya from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/youjo-senki-saga-of-tanya-the-evil\/\" title=\"Youjo Senki: Saga of Tanya the Evil\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Youjo Senki<\/a> happened to be a sadomasochist who loved both war &#038; death.
