The pacing is awful with little connective tissue between events. It also becomes all but certain that it&#8217;s going to turn into an inexplicable harem, and those two things combined make it likely I&#8217;m not going to continue following the series.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0CKV4LDG3\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fifth<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/rebuild-world-i-surrendered-my-sword-for-a-new-life-as-a-mage\/\" title=\"Rebuild World &#038; I Surrendered My Sword for a New Life as a Mage\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Moto Saikyou no Kenshi<\/a> novel is just plain bad. Circuitous dialog, choppy pacing, and overly convenient plot developments are all in plentiful supply.
