Apart from occasional references to a class or skill the setting is a pretty normal fantasy world. Other differences would be that the game protagonist is present and the novel protagonist is a formerly faceless noble rather than a notable NPC.<\/p>\n<p>So far it&#8217;s an entertaining (relatively) &#8216;strategic genius&#8217; type of story with a small hint of future romance&#8230; which looks like it&#8217;ll handily avoid the harem trap since the game protagonist is the target of most girls&#8217; interest.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0CP5SP41V\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The second<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/the-brilliant-healers-new-life-you-were-experienced-i-was-not\/\" title=\"The Brilliant Healer\u2019s New Life in the Shadows &#038; You Were Experienced, I Was Not: OUR DATING STORY\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yami Healer<\/a> novel is a seamless continuation of the first. You get a bit of a look at the &#8216;proper&#8217; healers this volume, some rather large hints as to the wraith&#8217;s backstory, and our protagonist resolves everything solely through his healing powers without having to fall back on the questionable combat abilities showcased in the previous novel&#8217;s climax.
