The adaptation of the third novel wasn&#8217;t as head-and-shoulders above the one for the first two, so I figured I wouldn&#8217;t be missing much by reading the source material&#8217;s version of the &#8216;return to Earth&#8217; arc immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Two things quickly became clear. The first being that the original version of the wedding arc was <em>severely<\/em> lacking compared to the adaptation, and the second being that the start of the &#8216;return&#8217; arc is completely different from what was shown at the end of the Anime. There are neither cyborgs nor a rescue in the original, which leaves me wondering what exactly the showrunners are up to.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/sword-saint-adels-second-chance-hazure-skill-1-3\/\" title=\"Sword Saint Adel\u2019s Second Chance &#038; Hazure Skill #1-3\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kenseijo Adel no Yarinaoshi<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0CVN4HVKD\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">second entry<\/a> is much like the first content-wise. Though a little on the short side, the pacing is solid and events are wrapped up nicely without any glaring absences.
