The second of Shawn Wilson<\/a>‘s Ultimate Level 1<\/a> novels, Shattered Limits<\/a> continues along the outlined progression path with the only hiccups being the occasional technical error and unclear formatting (time skips and scene breaks aren’t visually distinct from conversation breaks). If you liked the first book there shouldn’t be any surprises here, though do note it ends on a cliffhanger.<\/p>\n

Michael Anderle<\/a>‘s first three C.O.R.P.S.E.<\/a> novels (Out in the Cold<\/em>, Blade in the Dark<\/em>, Silence After the Storm<\/em>) tell the story of a highly advanced android assassin navigating a path between getting revenge on her mentor’s murderer and learning what it is to be human. The first two are quite good, but things begin to fray in the third with somewhat forced event developments and awkward romance elements.
