Nothing of any interest occurs in the second<\/a> Buchigire Reijou wa Houfuku o Chikaimashita<\/a> novel. It’s incredibly mundane for the most part and I’m not thrilled about the sudden dungeon excursion. I’ll probably drop it here.<\/p>\n

The second<\/a> Mizu Zokusei<\/em> novel on the other hand is much like the first<\/a>. While this also has an inexplicable dungeon excursion (what is it with fantasy authors forcing gamified dungeons into their non-gameworlds?), the character interactions and assorted other developments continue to be entertaining.<\/p>\n

Continuing the ‘sudden dungeon’ theme, although at least this setting is in fact a gameworld and the dungeon is only used as an assassination tool, Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival<\/a>‘s second novel<\/a> drops the battle-maid angle to return to the path of the murderhobo. My only complaint is an overuse of ‘fodder for my growth’ as a catchphrase.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
