The second<\/a> through<\/a> fourth<\/a> Majo to Youhei<\/a> novels expand the protagonists’ circle of acquaintances while keeping the same general atmosphere. The series does however look to be building toward some kind of large-scale confrontation with the expanding number of potentially conflicting factions involved.<\/p>\n

Isekai Goumon-hime<\/a> starts out unnervingly similar to Nidome no Yuusha wa Fukushuu no Michi o Warai Ayumu<\/a>, especially considering they were originally released within a month of each other. It makes me fear this will fall apart later in a similar way… but maybe it can instead succeed where that failed. Hopefully it does because darker stories like this one aren’t particularly common.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
