Sadly, I ended up having to drop it shortly after the vampire court segment started raising some serious questions about the female lead&#8217;s intelligence in regards to her actions before the book proper began.<\/p>\n<p>While I felt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Stuart-Grosse\/e\/B071D343K7\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stuart Grosse<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/diplomacy-true-magic-1-2\/\" title=\"Diplomacy &#038; TRUE MAGIC #1-2\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">previous<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/the-op-lich-is-a-returnee-1-12-metaworld-chronicles-ch201-497\/\" title=\"The OP Lich IS A RETURNEE #1-12 &#038; Metaworld Chronicles Ch201-497\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lich Returnee<\/a> novella was rather lacking, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0G4XTRDTG\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this twentieth entry<\/a> is basically exactly what I&#8217;ve come to expect\/enjoy from the series.
