While I wouldn&#8217;t say it&#8217;s bad&#8230; it also doesn&#8217;t really seem to offer anything notably different. So unless you had to drop <em>C&#038;C<\/em> due to the slavery focus there&#8217;s not really much reason to read this.<\/p>\n<p>Coming seemingly out of nowhere, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/K-D-Robertson\/e\/B08254F4GY\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">K.D. Robertson<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0G5M2MCP8\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ninth Heretic Spellblade novel<\/a> claims to be an epilogue to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/heretic-spellblade-neural-wraith-1-3-demons-throne\/\" title=\"Heretic Spellblade, NEURAL WRAITH #1-3, &#038; DEMON\u2019S THRONE\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the series<\/a>. In reality though it reads more like a continuation, one picking up after a six-year timeskip that arguably leaves more dangling threads than it began with. The only thing that gets &#8216;solved&#8217; is the continued presence of the outer being&#8217;s doorway.
