Robertson<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/heretic-spellblade-neural-wraith-1-3-demons-throne\/\" title=\"Heretic Spellblade, NEURAL WRAITH #1-3, &#038; DEMON\u2019S THRONE\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Neural Wraith<\/a> novels pretty much holds the line with more of the same. There are neither any surprises nor particular disappointments, and the only issue I had was that it occasionally gets a little preachy regarding forms of government.<\/p>\n<p>While I ended up enjoying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Bruce-Sentar\/e\/B082S6QKGK\/ref=dp_byline_cont_ebooks_1\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bruce Sentar<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/dragons-justice-1-6-dungeon-diving-1-10\/\" title=\"Dragon\u2019s Justice #1-6 &#038; Dungeon Diving #1-10\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dungeon Diving<\/a> series despite my initial expectations, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0GXQHBKZV\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this eleventh installment<\/a> is pretty much exactly what I&#8217;m not looking for. It picks up immediately from the tenth&#8217;s cliffhanger and then proceeds to essentially tread water for the majority of its pagecount. Sure the &#8216;hostile adventurer guild&#8217; subplot is resolved, but most of the focus is on fighting dark elves (completely arbitrary and lacking any narrative weight, you&#8217;d be better off fighting naga) and the acquisition of a new harem member (painfully forced).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The fourth of K.D.
