The main thing to be aware of going into Luca De Rosa<\/a>‘s A Bond Between Equals<\/a> is that it features frequent, detailed, sexual scenes which tend to have a heavy focus on fluid dynamics. Less detailed is the System implementation, justified in-universe by it being on its last legs (to a greater degree than Heretical Fishing<\/a>‘s), and the character interactions can be a bit uneven. What ended up being a deal-killer for me was how that whole computer room scene at the end played out and its implications for future developments… most notably the complete about-face on the harem issue.<\/p>\n

Stuart Grosse<\/a>‘s twenty-second<\/a> Lich Returnee<\/a> novella is one of the more laid-back ones focused on magecraft.
