Overall I think this focuses a little too much on being goofy and would&#8217;ve been better if Brock had more agency instead of basically being piloted by the symbiote for much of the runtime. The visual effects are solid though and I&#8217;m now cautiously optimistic for the upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Venom:_Let_There_Be_Carnage\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Maximum Carnage adaptation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The second of the Marvel co-produced <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Spider-Man\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Spider-Man<\/a> films, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Spider-Man:_Far_From_Home\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Far From Home<\/a>, acts as a postscript to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/assorted-mostly-dc-movies\/\" title=\"Assorted, Mostly DC, Movies\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Endgame<\/a> (which is mainly why I watched it, having been ambivalent about <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Spider-Man:_Homecoming\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Homecoming<\/a>) in addition to advancing its own ongoing relationship plotline.
