Its main defining features being that it doesn&#8217;t have any love interests and (as the title would suggest) has a rather large focus on religion.<\/p>\n<p>The follow-up, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B01N70102V\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Archer of Beast Woods<\/a>, takes several steps backward in the dialog department and comes across like a bait &#038; switch. It feels very much like a combination of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/That_Time_I_Got_Reincarnated_as_a_Slime\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TenSura<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_8th_Son%3F_Are_You_Kidding_Me%3F\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hachinantte<\/a> (minus the female characters). How did it turn on a dime from adventuring Paladin to kingdom-building lord? What possessed the author to make such a shift?<\/p>\n<p>At this point I&#8217;m not sure I want to follow the series any further.
