While that was pretty much a self-contained story however, this is not. Most of its brief length is devoted to detailing a certain character&#8217;s backstory (which will presumably become relevant in future novels) while it ends on something of a cliffhanger.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of which, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/That-Reincarnated-Slime-light-novel\/dp\/1975314476\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the 14th Tensura novel<\/a> also happens to end on a cliffhanger. Roughly 80% of it is a bunch of council meetings concerning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offkorn.com\/blog\/that-time-i-got-reincarnated-as-a-slime-13-in-the-land-of-leadale-4-5\/\" title=\"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a SLIME #13 &#038; In the Land of Leadale #4-5\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tempest&#8217;s recent overwhelming victory<\/a>, while the last 20% or so illustrates that things don&#8217;t always go according to plan and there&#8217;s always someone out there stronger than you.
